BURNER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Introduction

The most common air pre-heater are tubular pre-heater consisting of straight tube bundles which pass through the outlet ducting system of the boiler and open at each end outside the ducting. Inside ducting, the hot furnace gases flow within the pre-heater tubes, transferring the heat from the exhaust gas to air inside the pre-heater. Ambient air forced by fan through the ducting at one end of the pre-heater tube and at the other end the heated air from inside the tube emerges into another set of ducting. This ultimately carries it to the boiler furnace for combustion.
