PRESSURISED ECONIMISER
Introduction

“Economisers”, found in boilers, are heat exchange devices that raise the temperature of fluids - typically water - up to the boiling point. These devices derive their name from their ability to utilise the enthalpy present in fluid streams. By recovering valuable enthalpy from hot fluid, they enhance the overall efficiency of the boiler. Economisers are installed in boilers to save energy by preheating the cold water using exhaust gases from the boiler.
